The West Wire: July 2012

Meet Mrs. West:

I grew up in Columbia, SC and had the great fortune of going to school in Richland District Two. I am a proud graduate of North Springs Elementary School, Summit Parkway Middle School, and the Horizon Magnet Program at Richland Northeast High School. After leaving Richland District Two, I became a gamecock at the University of South Carolina, graduating with a degree in Print Journalism. Following my undergraduate years, I received my Masters in Elementary Education, after student teaching at Bookman Road Elementary. I was grateful to become Nationally Board Certified in 2011.

At home, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jay West, of Camden, SC, and our daughter, Bellamy, who was born in December 2014. We love to travel, explore the great outdoors, and spend time with our family and friends!
