Looking ahead to the week of May 20 (2nd PE)

Students enjoyed getting ready for state-wide testing last week!  They reviewed strategies through games (like Snowball Fight), songs, and an energetic pep rally!  Huge shout-out to all of the volunteers, who sent in breakfast items, juice, napkins, snacks, and treats to make the week a little "sweeter!"  We appreciate all of you!

Hi, families!

SC Day is coming up:  Please mark your calendars for "South Carolina Day" next Friday, May 24!  You may go ahead and sign up to make a donation or volunteer on SC Day!  Check out this link:  SC Day sign-up.  We appreciate all of your help in making this day possible!

PE message from Mr. Lally:  It's bring your parent your parent to PE day!  We go to PE on Wednesday, May 29!  The kids hope to see you in the Multi-Purpose Room at 9:40.

Report cards:  Students received their third nine weeks' report cards Thursday, April 4.  Please take some time to review the report card with your child and set goals for the final nine weeks.  You may keep the contents of the sleeve, but please sign and return the cover.  Several covers are still missing.

Looking ahead to the next week:  Students will continue learning how to read aloud poetry, 19th/20th century changes in our state (including the changes in industry, segregation/migration, and the Great Depression), as well as, wrap up a Caine's Arcade project for our pre-K friends!  Also, the BOGO Book Fair will be back next week, so be sure to check it out!

Thank you again for all of your support!
