Report Cards: Please be sure to sign and return the report card sleeve, as soon as possible. You may keep the contents of the report card sleeve.
Looking ahead to next week: As scientists, students will kick off our "Don't Take it for Granite" unit and learn about different types of soil. As mathematicians, they will continue to learn about using known facts to figure out multiplication problems. We will be using the Envision curriculum for this unit, so please see the family letter below. As readers and writers, the children will create their own informational colonial pictures books, using text features we discussed a couple of weeks ago. They will also study a mentor sentence, with a focus on conjunctions.
