LIFESKILL of the week: Flexibility - Encourage your child to celebrate ways of showing flexibility!
PTO presentation letter: Please be on the look out for a letter going home in your child's communication folder today, regarding our upcoming PTO performance. Please sign and return the letter, as soon as possible! Students will be singing Monday, January 23. Students may be dropped off in the music room at 6:45. They are asked to wear jeans and a white shirt.

Looking ahead to next week: As historians, students will kick off an American Revolution unit. As mathematicians, they will learn about fractions. We will be using the Engage New York curriculum for this unit, so please see the family letter below. As readers, the children will look at their new reading logs and we will model how to respond to them in class. As writers, they will revisit prompt responses and learn about idioms.
